FYI - This Dhyana Buddha statue has the original ancient symbol that is the swastika in the center of the chest. The word swastika is derived from the Sanskrit root swasti, which is composed of su ('"good, well being') and asti ('it is; there is'). The word swasti occurs frequently in the Vedas, an ancient Indian script, as well as in classical literature, associated with 'health, luck, success, prosperity' and other positive attributes. The original ancient symbol opens on the left rather than the corrupted symbol opening on the right and turned 90 degrees.
